Built by someone who's done the work.
SupCarta is a supply chain operations and compliance service. This is the honest story of where it comes from and where it's going.
The founder
I'm Nitesh Garg. I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from IIIT Delhi. After that, I worked in my family's textile trading and manufacturing business in India, including the export side of the operation.
That meant seeing the compliance and documentation work up close — test reports chased from labs, HS codes validated across shipments, country-of-origin paperwork prepared before containers left port, and ESG questionnaires arriving from large buyers that needed careful, detailed responses. The work is real, it's constant, and most of it is done manually by people who are good at it but spending significant time on tasks that could be handled better.
I'm an engineer, not a career compliance specialist. What I bring is an understanding of how this work actually operates on the ground in a trading and manufacturing context, combined with the technical background to build better tooling and processes around it. I am not framing this as decades of customs expertise — the honest framing is that I've seen the operational reality and know where the friction points are.

What SupCarta does
SupCarta handles the operational layer of supply chain compliance — the work that sits between a business's commercial operations and the regulatory requirements that govern how goods move across borders and into markets.
Five practice areas, each staffed by a specialist and AI-accelerated where the tooling is reliable:
- Trade & Customs — tariff classification, customs entry support, sanctions screening, certificates of origin, and audit-ready trade documentation
- ESG Questionnaire & Audit Response — EcoVadis, Sedex, CDP, CSRD, and buyer-specific ESG questionnaire completion
- Supplier Compliance Operations — chasing, validating, and maintaining supplier certificates and declarations
- Documentation & Classification — HS classification, product documentation dossiers, EUDR due diligence statements
- AI-Assisted Compliance Monitoring — continuous monitoring of regulatory changes, supplier status, and compliance deadlines
The service is open to businesses anywhere. We operate from India, which is honest context about the team's location — not a restriction on who we work with.
Where we are right now
Honest context: founding-customer phase
SupCarta has no paying clients yet. We are in founding-customer phase — taking on the first engagements, doing real work, and shaping the service based on what customers actually need.
The service is founder-led. All work runs through me directly, with specialist input on specific regulatory areas as needed.
SupCarta is not yet a registered legal entity. Entity formation is in progress. The service is operated by Nitesh Garg, Delhi, India.
If you're considering an engagement and want to understand what that means for you in practical terms, reach out directly — I'll give you a straight answer.
Why I'm building this
Trade compliance and supply chain documentation work is genuinely difficult. It requires knowing the specific regulatory requirements that apply to specific product categories in specific markets, staying current as those requirements change, and executing the documentation work accurately under time pressure from shipment schedules.
Most businesses handle this internally — which means it's either done by people who are technically capable but not specialized, or it's not done consistently, or it creates bottlenecks when shipments need to move. Outsourcing to a customs broker or freight forwarder covers a narrow slice. ESG questionnaire response is often left to sustainability teams who are already stretched.
The opportunity I see: a service that handles the full operational layer, runs AI tooling where it reduces the work without reducing the accuracy, and puts a named specialist on every account who actually takes responsibility for the output.
That's what I'm building with SupCarta.
